Wigan Athletic has launched Future Fund Global Connect, a new membership scheme for supporters living overseas. The membership becomes available for the 2026/27 season and costs £16 per month or £144 annually.
Members receive a range of exclusive benefits designed to connect overseas Latics supporters with the club and the Kingdom Academy. These include access to a Global WhatsApp group to connect with fellow supporters worldwide, regular updates from the club and Academy throughout the season, and a Homecoming Experience offering memorable visits to The Brick Community Stadium for returning overseas members.
Supporting Academy Development
Each membership contribution goes towards developing young players within the Academy. Since the Future Fund launched in 2024, supporters have raised more than £140,000 for the Academy. This funding has been reinvested in the Pre-Academy, player recruitment, sports science provision, and development trips for Academy players.
Supporters can sign up for Global Connect membership at £16 per month or as a single annual payment of £144.
