Wigan Athletic Community Trust has unveiled a new education prospectus featuring pathways for young people to build careers in the sports industry. The prospectus maps a full educational journey from 16-year-old pupils starting on the Trust's Football and Education programme through to university graduates coaching in sports and community settings.
Football and Education Programme
Delivered in partnership with LFE (League Football and Education), the Football and Education programme is aimed at 16–18-year-olds. The Level 3 qualification course enables students to gain multiple qualifications while developing knowledge of sports and coaching. Interested pupils can complete an expression of interest form to apply.
