Wigan Athletic is hosting a business networking event on Thursday 15 October 2026 at Whelan's Sports Bar, The Brick Community Stadium, from 12:45pm to 3:15pm. The event is free to attend and includes complimentary food and drink.
The afternoon will feature presentations from CEO Anthony Cole-Johnson and Head Coach Gary Caldwell from 1pm onwards. Both will discuss the season to date, challenges and opportunities ahead, and what to expect from Wigan Athletic over the coming months.
Player Sponsor Draw
A key highlight of the event is the 2026/27 Player Sponsor Draw, taking place from 2:05pm. This will reveal which first-team player each season's Player Sponsor has been paired with for 2026/27. Player Sponsors receive the opportunity to be officially connected with a member of the Wigan Athletic first team throughout the season.
Networking and Registration
The event will bring together Wigan Athletic partners, local businesses and members of the wider business community. It provides an opportunity to meet fellow club partners, connect with local businesses and build relationships within the Wigan business community.
The event is sponsored by Sage. Businesses can register online. A separate registration form must be completed for each attendee if bringing more than one guest.
