Wigan Warriors make the short trip to Leigh on Friday night to face Leigh Leopards at the Progress With Unity Stadium in Betfred Super League Round 21.

Head coach Matt Peet has named a 21-player squad with one change from the previous fixture, with Josh Cartwright replacing George Marsden.

Leigh's Recent Form

Leigh Leopards arrive in strong form, having won five Super League matches recently with only one defeat in their last six home games. Leigh head coach Adrian Lam has made two squad changes, with Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Andrew Badrock replacing Edwin Ipape and Frankie Halton.

Peet's Assessment

Peet acknowledged the improved standard of opposition compared to the teams' earlier meeting this season. "It will be evenly matched and a great watch," he said. "They're a different proposition than they were early in the season. They're a very strong team, but there's also some individuals who are flying at the moment."
