Wigan Warriors secured their eighth consecutive league victory with a commanding 38-16 win over St.Helens in Round 20 of the Betfred Super League at The Brick Community Stadium.
First Half Dominance
The opening 20 minutes proved decisive, with four tries scored. Bevan French and Zach Eckersley (twice) crossed for Wigan, while St.Helens replied through Jack Welsby and Jacob Douglas. The Warriors took an 18-12 lead into the break.
Second Half Control
Wigan pulled clear after the interval. Oliver Partington scored twice and Adam Keighran added a try as the Warriors' attacking play overwhelmed their visitors. Jackson Hastings was sent to the sin bin five minutes after the restart. Lewis Murphy grabbed a late consolation try for St.Helens, but the home side's control never wavered.
The attendance at The Brick Community Stadium was 18,906, with referee Liam Moore overseeing the match.
