Wigan Warriors secured an away victory against Leigh Leopards on Friday evening, winning 20-8 at the Progress with Unity Stadium.
Leigh made the stronger start, with Innes Senior scoring a try and Adam Cook adding two penalty goals to give the home side an 8-0 lead. Wigan responded before half-time when Jai Field scored a solo try to reduce the deficit to 8-6.
Warriors' Second-Half Dominance
The Warriors produced a commanding second-half performance to turn the match in their favour. Bevan French, Zach Eckersley, and Noah Hodkinson all scored tries after the break as Wigan crossed for four tries in the second forty minutes. Harry Smith added two conversions from five attempts.
Field's solo try from deep in Wigan's own half proved to be the turning point, keeping Leigh scoreless in the second half and securing maximum points for the visitors.
