Wigan Athletic Women's FA Cup First Round fixture against Chester-Le-Street Town Ladies has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Edge Hall Road.
The match, scheduled for Sunday, 25 October 2026, fell victim to Storm Boelo, which swept across the UK over the weekend. The playing surface was deemed unfit for play.
New fixture date
The rearranged fixture will take place on Sunday, 1 November 2026 at 2pm. Tickets purchased for the original date remain valid for the new fixture. Further ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
