Wigan Athletic have named their side to face Huddersfield Town in Sky Bet League One on Saturday lunchtime, looking to bounce back from Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Oxford United.
Head Coach Gary Caldwell has made five changes from the side that played at the Kassam Stadium. Jon Mellish, James Carragher, Dara Costelloe, Sonny Perkins and Reggie Walsh come into the starting XI, replacing Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen, Charlie Gray, Morgan Fox, Scott Hogan and suspended Fraser Murray.
Match Context
Latics struggled in the opening 45 minutes at Oxford before improving after the break, with Christian Saydee scoring in the second half. Caldwell is keen to build on the positives shown in that second-half performance and a recent display against Reading heading into the Huddersfield fixture.
Huddersfield Town sit second in League One with 22 points from 11 matches. The Terriers have won three of their last four league games, including a 4-1 victory over Peterborough United in midweek.
