Wigan family business PROCare has extended its partnership with Wigan Warriors for the 2027 and 2028 seasons as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The Pemberton-based company will continue to support both the men’s and women’s first teams. Its name will remain on the lower back of their playing shirts, with the renewed agreement also adding branding to the sleeves of both teams’ training kits.
Founded in Wigan in 2001, PROCare supplies and manufactures wetrooms, accessible bathrooms and adapted kitchens for housing providers, councils and contractors.
Executive operations manager Claire Smalley said: “We’re made up to be continuing our partnership with the Warriors for another two years, especially in our 25th year.”
“We started as a small family business in Wigan, and now we supply housing providers right across the UK, but Wigan will always be home. So many of our team grew up supporting the Warriors, and seeing our name on the shirts makes us all really proud,” she added.
The business says the rugby agreement sits alongside support for local charities, grassroots sport and community projects, including The Brick and Wigan wheelchair athlete Louis Telford.
Rebecca Webb, Wigan Warriors’ head of partnerships, said: “It’s fantastic to be extending our partnership with PROCare. We’re really grateful for their continued support and the relationship we’ve built over the last couple of years.”
She said the partnership had grown during that period and welcomed its continuation as the company marks its anniversary.
The renewed agreement covers both the 2027 and 2028 seasons. This report is based on PROCare’s supplied announcement.
