Wigan Athletic midfielder Kai Payne has joined Oldham Athletic on a season-long loan for the 2026/27 campaign. The move marks Payne's third spell at Boundary Park, having previously spent a month with the League Two side in 2024 before completing the full 2025/26 season there.
